Vitalli MCP server
The MCP server connects your Vitalli account to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. The assistant can then read the data of the apps you enable and, when you ask it to, create or change entries.

What the server is
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants call tools of other services. The Vitalli MCP server provides such tools for your Vitalli apps, at one address for all apps.
Every tool works only with the data of your own account. Your assistant only sees the tools of the apps you have enabled. Your data stays stored in the apps; the server passes requests and responses between the assistant and the app.
Vitalli
Health profile, longevity overview, and the contacts and organisations of your care.
Vora
Health record: lab values, symptoms, conditions, medications, allergies, family history, mood, stool form, observations and the list of your documents.
Joiva
Nutrition: food log, drinks and water, saved meals, planning, pantry, shopping list, food rules, macro targets and share links.
Still
Fasting: start and end a fast, history, fasting templates, and glucose and ketone readings.
Stackwell
Supplements: products, intake plans, intakes, pauses, shopping list and health context.
Sign-in
The server requires OAuth sign-in with your Vitalli account. When you connect, your assistant opens the Vitalli sign-in page (auth.vitalli.app). You enter your password only there; the assistant never sees it.
After you sign in, Vitalli asks once which apps this assistant may read and write. The assistant then receives an access token that is valid only for the Vitalli MCP server.

Connect in Claude
- 1Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app and go to “Customize”, then “Connectors”.
- 2Choose “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”.

- Custom connectors are available on every Claude plan; the Free plan allows one.
- On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector under “Organization settings”, then “Connectors”; each member then connects on their own.
Connect in ChatGPT
- 1Open chatgpt.com in a browser. The iPhone and Android apps cannot connect custom MCP servers.
- 2Select the “+” button, then “Add custom MCP server”. Enter “Vitalli” as the name and
https://mcp.vitalli.appas the URL. If ChatGPT asks for the authentication method, choose OAuth. - 3Sign in with your Vitalli account and choose the apps ChatGPT may use.
- With ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu, ChatGPT can read and write; with Pro it can only read.
- In a Business workspace only admins and owners can add custom MCP servers.
- OpenAI changes these menus often. If a step no longer matches, OpenAI's guide takes precedence.
Access per app
You decide which apps your assistant can reach in your Vitalli account under “AI access (MCP)”, with one switch per app. It lists the apps your account uses. The choice you make when you first connect is stored in the same place.
The server checks your choice on every request. Your assistant, however, loads the list of tools only when it connects: after enabling another app, disconnect the Vitalli connector once and connect it again.
The tool vitalli_connection_status is always available. It shows which apps and tools this connection serves right now.

This list is generated from the server card of the MCP server. Names and titles appear exactly as your assistant sees them.

Privacy
- When your assistant calls a tool, the details of the call and the tool's response go to the provider of the assistant, that is Anthropic for Claude or OpenAI for ChatGPT. The response contains your data, for example lab values, food log entries or your intakes, and becomes part of your chat.
- You initiate this transfer yourself. The provider of the assistant is a controller in its own right and its own privacy policy applies. Whether it uses chats to train its models depends on its terms and your settings there. Check this before you bring health data into the chat.
- For each tool call the MCP server records the name of the tool, a pseudonym of your account, the duration and the outcome. Arguments and responses, that is your health data, are not part of this log.
Revoking access
- Single apps: switch off the app under “AI access (MCP)” in your account. This applies from your assistant's next request.
- Completely: disconnect or remove the Vitalli connector in Claude or ChatGPT and switch off all apps in your account.
No medical advice
The tools return what you have entered or measured yourself. Vitalli does not diagnose and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. What your assistant makes of the data is worded by the assistant, not by Vitalli. For health questions, talk to a doctor.

A tool is missing or an app does not show up: check your choice under “AI access (MCP)”, then disconnect the Vitalli connector and connect it again.
